Collection launched a year and a half after the start of the full-scale war.
For over a year, these people have been holding back the invasion. For over a year, they have risked their lives and health so that Ukrainians can live in a free, independent Ukraine. And right now, they urgently need a vehicle to continue fighting and saving Ukraine and Ukrainians in the most dangerous areas of our country.
To participate in the raffle, a donation of 200 UAH or more was required. This approach helped speed up the collection so that our fighters could get the vehicle they desperately needed as soon as possible. Their previous vehicle was damaged, leaving the fighters and medics without mobility. Funding and financial support from the state or the Armed Forces Command had not arrived for a very long time.
When the collection was still ongoing, the Freelander we had reserved was bought by others who gathered funds faster.
Instead, we purchased a Mercedes Benz ML270. The vehicle was beyond our budget, so we added our own money, and the defenders were very pleased with it! This vehicle improved their mobility.
The car was delayed slightly due to testing before handing it over to the military, as there was an issue where the right wheel would lock up while driving—one of the sensors had failed. Fortunately, the problem was quickly identified and resolved.
A photo report is attached above.
We didn’t even count the expenses for transportation and repairs, as they were covered out of our own pockets.
The report was delayed because we’re already working on the next collection.
